Introduction/Friending Meme
Hello and welcome to Ghost Valley!
This is a community for everyone who loves Word of Honor, Tian Ya Ke, and related topics (actor RPF, Qi Ye, etc.), and we're excited to get to know everyone who's found their way here!
(Basic comm rules can be found here.)
Please introduce yourself so that we can learn a little about our fellow fans! Share how you learned about this fandom, a favorite scene or character (and maybe a bit about why you like them?), which adaptation(s) you know, or any other fun facts you have about your relationship with Tian Ya Ke or Word of Honor. :)
If you make any fanworks—gifsets, meta, twitfic, fanart, more formal fanfic—feel free to mention what you make and where you post it. This can be part of your introduction, or you can simply post directly to the comm about your work! Promo yourself! There's so much content out there, and it's great to get to know the creators behind all the splendid work. :)
And optionally, if you'd like to expand your Dreamwidth circle and have more WOH/TYK people on your reading list, here's a basic friending meme – just copy the template and paste it into your comment:

DW username: huldraism
Usernames elsewhere: drifloon on ao3, huldraism on twitter and tumblr (tumblr not really in use), and i'm huldra/kep on discord!
What you post about: in theory, everything. in practice? nothing
Your other fandoms: tgcf is the only other one i'm properly in, i would say. though i'm watching winter begonia right now and i'm fascinated! i'm also hoping to read more of priest's works (i've watched guardian and read TYK on top of watching SHL, but that's all).
Post frequency: well... nothing yet, so... rare.
Access policy: anybody's welcome! i have no idea what i'm doing!

Winter Begonia is a show I keep sorta meaning to try! And Priest has a ton of other works... they're fun to read, generally!

winter begonia is super interesting! i started it as research for my wenzhou big bang fic, so it all comes down to wenzhou in the end, but so far i am enjoying it greatly.
i really look forward to reading her other works, especially qi ye and sha po lang - i have either no motivation or i stay up until 2am reading, and unfortunately i've been stuck in the former for a while now. :(

xD Wenzhou with chinese opera sounds fun, though! I'm glad that Winter Begonia is enjoyable in its own right too, though.
Sha Po Lang is a novel I have meant to read for a long time and gotten... uh I want to say 20-ish chapters into? Maybe? Qi Ye is delightful! (My favorite Priest novel is probably Mo Du, though... thus proving my love of detective stories...) I do hear you on the yes/no thing with reading, too; good luck finding a balance (or switching to binge-reading something new)!

A slower pace can be really nice, yes. :D
(If you like Guardian, there's also an active comm for it,
