This is a community for everyone who loves Word of Honor, Tian Ya Ke, and related topics (actor RPF, Qi Ye, etc.), and we're excited to get to know everyone who's found their way here!

Please introduce yourself so that we can learn a little about our fellow fans! Share how you learned about this fandom, a favorite scene or character (and maybe a bit about why you like them?), which adaptation(s) you know, or any other fun facts you have about your relationship with Tian Ya Ke or Word of Honor. :)

If you make any fanworks—gifsets, meta, twitfic, fanart, more formal fanfic—feel free to mention what you make and where you post it. This can be part of your introduction, or you can simply post directly to the comm about your work! Promo yourself! There's so much content out there, and it's great to get to know the creators behind all the splendid work. :)

I usually never watch a drama while it's still airing, so SHL was an anomaly for me! I didn't go in with any expectations but ended up devouring it all in under a week (watching ~8 episodes a day). WKX is my favorite. (I can't handle Gong Jun in anything else thanks to my secondhand embarrassment squick so I consider this a miracle!) Gu Xiang and Cao Weining also have my whole heart.

I'm currently just over halfway through a rewatch with a couple friends on discord.

I'm personally of the "SHL is an expanded version of TYK canon" camp and hope book fans and drama fans can exist in harmony! ♥

What you post about: I am neck deep in 5+ web novels at any given time while simultaneously bingewatching a couple cdrama on 1.75x speed, so expect monthly reactions/rants. And doodles roughly weekly.
Your other fandoms: MXTX novels, audio dramas, manhua (currently following lanxi zhen, bu tian ge, & fei ren zai), donghua (currently watching luo xiaohei every saturday)

That's a very fast binge-watch speed, but I completely understand how easy is to do that if you have the time—I watched the back half of the show at that speed too. :)

I've never seen Gong Jun in anything else, so the idea that he usually does roles that bring about embarrassment squick is surprising to me; that's a very different feel than WKX! :)

I also want book and drama folk to coexist! I love both of them, in rather different ways. <3

Hee! I hear you about not watching things as they air - I usually prefer binge-watching myself. But with SHL I couldn't, because only 12 or so episodes were out when I started.

(I haven't seen either GJ or ZZH in anything else yet, but I'm definitely curious about what they're going to do in the future!)

Totally agreed on novel and drama fans getting along - I love them both as separate things, and I don't want to take sides.
