Character Spotlight Sign-Ups (Round 1)

Shan He Ling/Word of Honor and Tian Ya Ke/Faraway Wanderers have so many neat characters! This post series is about showing our love for and interest in the secondary and tertiary characters of our beloved canons.

Signing up to host a discussion means posting to the comm on the weekend you’ve claimed with a post talking about the character you picked. We would appreciate it if you join in discussions by replying to comments as well!

Your post doesn’t need to be long or formal! If making it long/formal makes you happy, go for it (we certainly enjoy it!), but short and sweet can spark discussion just as well. :)

Your post should include:

• Subject Line: “Character Spotlight: [Character] (Canon)”


• Who the character is (name, important relationships, how they were involved with the plot)


• Which canon you’re basing this post on (SHL and TYK can be very different!)


• (if SHL) Some screencaps of the character (if you need help gathering those, shadaras is happy to help.)


• Something about why you picked this character for your post (which might blend with the following element!)


• Discussion starters (questions about this character, things you like/dislike about them, something neat you wanna highlight or hear people talk about, etc.)
