TYK Audio Drama!
I haven't yet had a chance to listen to this myself, but I've learned that the Tian Ya Ke audio drama is currently partially subbed! (Basically everything I know about this comes from Bichen/bluemorningsoup [anything I'm quoting is things Bichen said], who in this case says "It’s been subbed up to Ep 6, if I’m not mistaken. If you’ve read the novel, it’s actually very easy to follow along, if you remember the plot and the dialogues.")
The audio drama is a radio play of the novel, with some edits so that the story comes through when told mostly through dialogue and sound-effects. It's available freely online here [link goes to the first episode]. This app has engsubs built in, but on desktop they're uhhhh not the most convenient/easy to read because "You have to turn on the running comments. The subs kinda overlap with the running comments."
(I wouldn't be surprised if eventually people make a web-accessible version with cleaner engsubs, but this exists right now! I am also told that "if you download the Maoer FM app, you can get rid of the danmu and keep the subtitles (I haven't managed to find that option on desktop).", so that's an option for people who are cool with downloading the app/want to watch-listen on a mobile device!)

How do you get the English subtitles?Oh, I see! I didn't notice them at all on that crowded screen ...no subject
I'm glad that apparently the app version works better as far as subs without other distracting text, but probably I will just wait until the fandom at large informs me there's a version with cleaned-up hardcoded engsubs. :)
