[WoH Rewatch] Introduction
I’m starting a semi-formal rewatch-along of Word of Honor on this comm! I will be rewatching a single episode at a time, and the first post will be this Friday (the 11th, UTC-4). I would love for you all to join me by rewatching yourself and/or reading and commenting on the posts!
I have seen the whole show exactly once, and rewatched various individual scenes/episodes for fanfic reasons a highly variable amount of times, but I haven’t done a full rewatch yet. I’m excited to take the time to go through and start looking for all the scheming and foreshadowing that exists in the early episodes that is easy to breeze over and forget in favor of ZZS and WKX. :)
There are so many different platforms where it’s possible to watch Word of Honor. I have access to many of them, but I’m going to do this rewatch based on youtube (as the most easily-accessible version). If you’re watching along on a different platform, I’m always excited to hear about differences between versions!
Each post will have three sections:
1. A general outline of what happened in the episode.
2. My FEELINGS and THOUGHTS.
3. Questions that the FEELINGS and THOUGHTS raised.

Questions:
- Does this format sound good to you? Is there anything you think would be useful to add/change?
- How long is too long for a post? (I’ll use cuts regardless, but I can try and be brief/selective about my feelings if too much text makes it hard for folk to engage!)
- Would you like me to go faster than one episode a week? I will only write up one episode per post, but I could watch/post about episodes up to three times a week. (I will default to once a week unless people are excited about more.)

This all sounds great, I can't think of anything else right now. And there's no such thing as too long! More THOUGHTS and FEELINGS please! :D
(One episode per week is a good pace, I feel - if it's more it'd be hard for me to keep up, and also, discussions would probably be shorter if everyone moved on to the next episode already ...)

Questions are super fun to ask, because it means I get to toss all my potential confusion or WHAT moments at other people to discuss and try and clarify! :)

xD yes cuts do help a lot. I was asking partially to see if anyone actually wanted me to try and limit myself..
Yeah, it'll probably be once a week; might make it to twice a week if I get a bunch of responses being enthusiastic about that idea. :)

(Yeah, that's kind why I was definitely gonna default to once a week. :) Also if it's once a week that means I will allow myself to get way more into the weeds about write-ups tbh...)

Another excellent reason! :D

Excellent, thank you for sharing your opinion! :)

Will you be watching the special versions of the eps that have them?
no subject
Yes! That is also why I want to watch it on youtube, tbh, so that I can definitely find those versions. :)

Format-wise: I think depending on how you want to structure it, it could be episodic posts (outline + feelings) in the post itself, or events + questions in the body of the post, plus your thoughts as the first comment. I've seen it done both ways, but route #1 feels a little more interactive.
Length: Go wild. More length is always good, and anyone who doesn't read can just... not read lol.
I also prefer once a week, but definitely not more than two.

Thanks for the frequency feedback! Seems like people are generally on the same page about that.
