Wen Kexing leans forward into the edge of his vision and his grin puts Zhou Zishu in mind of a cat with a live bird thrashing in its mouth. He makes a show of rubbing his palms together, building heat before circling them slowly on Zhou Zishu’s lower back, over his kidneys. “Just relax,” he answers mysteriously.
